Well-being at Work - Alexander Technique Workshop
Next course details:
Paths to well being courseFree yourself from work- related back and neck pain with the Alexander Technique
Overview
The Alexander Technique is a simple but profound method of releasing physical, mental and emotional tension. Poor postural, mental and emotional habits accumulated over years can cause a build-up of tension which can affect the way we move, think and feel and this in turn can severely affect our quality of life.
Through observation, awareness and education of how the body and mind are designed to work, we can become aware of our own excessive tension. With increased awareness you can discover new ways of moving, thinking and feeling that put less strain on your body and mind.
The Alexander Technique is a powerful tool for personal development and self-awareness and it equips you with new skills to cope with life's demands. It teaches you to help yourself in improving how you move, perform, think and feel. It’s not therapy. It’s education.
