IOSH Managing Safely 4-day training course for Safety Managers
Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. The course lasts for 24 hours in total. Managing Safely can be delivered over four days and has eight modules.
Objective
To give managers an awareness of all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams. The flexible new high impact programme covers all the main health and safety issues, and includes a session tackling the environment.

- Identifying hazards
- Investigating accidents and incidents

Certification
An IOSH Certificate is awarded to all those who attend the
course and successfully complete the written and practical assessments.
How you will learnThe emphasis throughout is on a practical approach
with detailed presentations followed by individual exercises, group work and
interactive discussions.
Number of participants
To optimise the benefit to each participant, numbers will be restricted to 10 people and
each module will be customised as far as possible to individual training needs.
Fee
Employees of eligible companies may qualify for
funding of this course under the FAS Competency Development Programme,
