 IOSH Managing Safely 1 Day Refresher Course
This course is suitable for delegates who wish to maintain and update their knowledge of health and safety management issues. Delegates who have successfully completed the 4 day IOSH Managing Safely programme within the last 3 years are eligible to attend this programme.
Objective
- To review workplace health and safety management techniques.

To review recent changes in legislation relating to workplace health and safety management.
Modules:
- Introduction to Managing Safely
- Assessing Risk and Controlling Risk
- Understanding your responsibilities
- Identifying hazards
- Investigating accidents and incidents
- Measuring performance
Duration:
This is a one-day refresher course.
Certification
An IOSH Certificate is awarded to all those who attend the course and successfully complete the written assessments.
How you will learn
The emphasis throughout is on a practical approach with detailed presentations followed by individual exercises, group work and interactive discussions.
Number of participants
To optimise the benefit to each participant, numbers will be restricted to 15 people and each module will be customised as far as possible to individual training needs.
