Chemical Exposure Monitoring


The objective of chemical exposure monitoring is to achieve compliance with Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Chemical Agents) Regulations 2001 Regulation 6.1 (c)

"to carry out on a regular basis, and when any change occurs in the conditions which may affect employees' exposure to hazardous chemical agents, measurements of hazardous chemical agents in accordance with an internationally validated procedure and in particular in relation to any occupational exposure limit values listed in an approved code of practice"

Chemical Exposure monitoring can be completed for chemicals outlined in the 2007 Code of Practice for Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Chemical Agents) Regulations 2001.
